We've Made Our First Donation!
It is with great excitement to announce that we have made our first donation to Page Turners Make Great Learners!! In an email a while back I talked about how I have always wanted to give back to something that involved literature. As you all know, or have guessed, reading is extremely important to me and it is a part of who I am.
People often times takes being able to read and being able to read well for granted. For some, children having confidence in reading can be difficult. For teachers with their demanding workload, it can be hard to have the time to dedicate to specific students to increase their reading ability.
That's where Page Turners Make Great Learners come in. They help students in the metro Atlanta area become confident and amazing readers and during their sessions they often times get to leave with a book. A lot of these children come from low income homes and neighborhoods within Atlanta with limited resources.
With purchases on the website whether they be candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, or room sprays, the hope is to be able to donate every month to help with costs and book purchases.
